In 1996, inspired by the motto “If not us, who? If not now, when?” and shaped by years of community and ministry service, Marvin and Karla R. Smith founded Fired-Up! with a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people through faith, service, and Christ-centered leadership.
What began as a passion to serve others grew into a movement committed to developing, equipping, and empowering servant leaders who follow Jesus Christ.
Through the years, Fired-Up! has brought people together through biblical teaching, discipleship, prayer, fellowship, mentoring, and gatherings both small and large. These environments have provided opportunities for people to grow in God’s Word, build authentic relationships, discover and develop their God-given gifts, and be equipped to serve others.
As Fired-Up! has grown and evolved, one thing has remained constant: a desire to see people know Jesus, mature in their faith, live God’s Word, and fulfill His purposes for their lives.
Today, Fired-Up! Leaders continues as a living and growing community of believers committed to following Jesus Christ and serving others. We believe the Church is more than a building—it is the Body of Christ, alive and active wherever believers gather in His name.
Rooted in the fellowship modeled in Acts 2:42–47, we continue to encourage believers to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in relationship with one another, and allow the Holy Spirit to equip and empower them for the work God has called them to do.
