Fired-Up! International Religious Freedom Update
Karla and I attended and hosted delegations at this year’s International Religious Freedom, (IRF) Summit. We came home on fire with greater understanding of the vital importance of educating all segments of communities throughout the world on religious freedom for all.
Karla and I will continue ongoing travel in the US and abroad and hosting dignitaries. We would greatly appreciate your financial support and prayers to help us in continuing these efforts.
The speakers at this year’s IRF Summit were passionate, informed and compelling. In the United States of America, religious freedom is a constitutional right that protects the rights of people to live, speak, and act according to their beliefs peacefully and publicly. However, this is not a right globally. I believe that as for Americans, this right is taken for granted as evident in our culture today.
Religious freedom affects every human being on this planet and those yet to be born, which should compel each person with the degree of passion needed to stand up and be counted in the religious freedom movement.
Religious freedom is being challenged and is affecting all of us. The majority does not even realize that religious freedom is more than the ‘freedom to worship’ at a church; it means people shouldn’t have to go against their core values and beliefs in order to conform to culture.
While attending this year’s Summit and hosting dignitaries, Karla and I had the opportunity to personally meet and hear the testimony of former NBA Center, Enes Freedom.

After he was vocal about human rights abuses in his parents’ home country, and under Erdogan’s leadership, referred to Turkish president as the “Hitler of our century,” Enes was placed on Turkey’s most-wanted terrorists list and has a bounty placed on him worth up to 10 million Turkish Lira, or $500,000 for his capture.
Wars have been fought and many lives lost for the sake of Religious Freedom. Do not wait to support people around the world who are affected or wait to see the effects of loosing your religious freedom… Please educate yourself, get involved and take a stand NOW for what is at stake!
