In 2004, CK2 students visited Skid Row, where they encountered a man who shared five powerful and life-changing questions. One of the videographers was so moved by this moment that he and two friends spent the next 17 years traveling the world, asking those same five questions to young people across the globe. The video titled “Beneath the Surface: Life Advice From the Homeless” captures this journey and concludes right where it began — in the Skid Row community of Los Angeles.

When spiritual friends share their stories, the others listen without working. They rest… in the knowledge that the life within, the passion for holiness, is indestructible. It needs only to be nourished and released.
